Our relationship with The Merrion Hotel started over 25 years ago, and like all the best relationships, it has grown deeper and better over time. What started as a simple supplier–client arrangement, has blossomed into a genuine partnership, built on trust, consistency, and a shared pursuit of excellence.

Whenever we are in Dublin, The Merrion is always on our route. Sometimes it’s for a formal visit—reviewing uniforms, discussing updates, or checking how the fabrics are performing. But on other occasions we drop by just to say hello, share a cup of tea, and catch up with our friends and colleagues in the housekeeping team.

A Hotel of Character

Set in four grand Georgian townhouses, The Merrion is one of Dublin’s most treasured five-star hotels. Known for its art collection, elegant interiors, and timeless service, it captures the spirit of Irish hospitality with effortless grace. Behind this perfection is a dedicated housekeeping team that keeps every room immaculate and a marketing team who ensures the uniforms remain relevant to the updates and changes to the property.

The Evolution of Elegance

Over the years, the housekeeping uniforms at The Merrion have quietly evolved, always balancing the team’s comfort with the hotel’s understated elegance. The first design was based on our Alitha dress in an exclusive light blue colour, to compliment the hotels other bespoke uniforms. Made in our sustainable CPF fabric - a blend of organic cotton, recycled PET, and a touch of Lycra. Paired with a half-moon apron, the look was both practical and refined.

As time went on, we refined the silhouette by adding a more pronounced waist and subtle details to make the garment unique to the Merrion, whilst retaining the same high-performing fabric. Most recently, the style was updated once again with a half-elasticated waistband and an open mandarin collar. Each stage of this journey has reflected a single philosophy: creating uniforms that are durable and functional, yet always in harmony with the elegance of the hotel.
