Our Fabrics for Hospitality Uniforms

The Fabrics for Hospitality Uniforms

Why is the sustainability of your uniforms important?

As the health of our planet deteriorates, awareness of the importance of sustainability in all our purchase decisions is growing. At Fashionizer Uniforms we try and minimise the environmental impact that the production of our uniforms has on the planet, by choosing the right raw materials, production and distribution processes. We also take into consideration human rights, labour and other social issues. We can assure you that all our uniforms are produced ethically and sustainably.

Organic and Antibacterial Fabrics

Style and comfort are key to our fabric choice and sustainable and natural fibres are at the heart of our collection for hotel uniforms. We use fabrics woven from rich cottons, wools, and eco-friendly fabrics such as tencel and rPET (recycled polyester), all sourced from a high quality and ethical European supply chain.

  • Wool and Cotton

The natural properties of wool and cotton make our garments suitably fit for purpose. Both fibres have moisture and temperature management properties, and naturally assist regulation of body temperature. The inherent breathability and moisture management properties also help prevent the skin from becoming clammy providing a uniform suitable for all seasons.

      • CPF

Our exclusive CPF (cotton performance fabric) is made from a unique combination of 63% organic cotton, 35% rPET and 2% Lycra®. Naturally cool, breathable and comfortable, it has a soil release treatment and antibacterial finish which means that our CPF fabric stays stain free, fresher and odourless for longer.

        • rPET

Light, soft and supple, rPET (recycled polyester) is filament yarn coming from a 100% recycled plastic bottles. We always try to source sustainable products, and we use rPET in our New ideas collection fabric which is made from 52% tencel, which uses wood pulp, 45% rPET, and 3% Lycra®.
